February is for Romantic Movies and Football
Roses are red, violets are blue, it’s February 14th, what should you do? Don’t let this month go by without catching a sappy movie about love! Premiering February 10th at 8:00 pm on Hallmark Channel (125), Love & Jane stars Alison Sweeney as Lilly, a hopeless romantic and literary enthusiast looking for love. When Lilly makes a wish that she could speak to the author of her book to help her find love, her wish comes true. There’s one problem, the author is a ghost.
What happens if you combine music, horses, and a return home to your small-town roots, you get A Country Wedding. A famous country singer set to marry a Hollywood actress, makes a visit to his home town and crosses paths with his childhood sweetheart. Will he fall for his first love or stick to his original plans? You will have to watch the movie on Saturday, February 17 at 10:00 am to see who he chooses!
Love is not all that is in the air for the month of February! There is a little football game you might have heard of called the Super Bowl LVIII! Serving as the final game of the NFL season since 1966, the Super Bowl game is played on the second Sunday in February every year. This year the match-up is between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs and will be Sunday, February 11, beginning at 6:30 pm on CBS (2). Not only are we interested in who is going to take home the Super Bowl LVIII Trophy but we can’t forget about the commercials or the half time show!
What could top the Super Bowl when it comes to football? How about four-legged fuzzy creatures chasing around a toy football! The Puppy Bowl XX will air on Animal Planet (Channel 58) at 2:00 PM. With more fluffy puppies than ever, the 20th Anniversary of the Puppy Bowl will have 131 puppy players from over 73 shelters and rescues across 36 states.

As we continue to incorporate wireless devices into our everyday life at home, each time we connect one of these devices it uses bandwidth. You may wonder what does bandwidth even mean? this can be tricky to understand so below we have a link here that breaks down Internet speeds, number of users, and type of activity you are using the Internet for to help with determining if you have the right speed. To find out your current speed, go to lhtcbroadband.com where you can do a Speedtest to see what you are connecting at.

Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day ladies! Have you made your plans for her special day? Have you purchased a gift? Maybe a bowl of popcorn and a relaxing evening at home is what mom would really enjoy. Have no fear because Hallmark doesn’t disappoint this Mother’s Day with the premiere of Dream Mom’s on Hallmark Channel 125, on May 13 8 pm staring Tamera Mowry-Housley and Chelsea Hobbs. After life happens and their dreams of being on Broadway are dashed, they enter a talent show competition together and find out that it’s never too late to become what or who you want to me.
On Mother’s Day catch an episode of The Pioneer Woman on the Food Network, Channel 70, at 10:00 AM. Titled Lovely Lunch for Mom, host Ree Drummond shares ideas for a special lunch just for Mom. On this episode Ree will start with a Grilled Chicken Lettuce Wraps with Italian-style filling, and for dessert she will make a super quick Dark Chocolate Espresso Sundae and to drink tasty Blood Orange and Basil Wine Spritzers. Recipes from that episode can be found at: https://www.foodnetwork.com/shows/the-pioneer-woman/episodes/lovely-lunch-for-mom.
Now let’s talk about a gift. Maybe you’re at a loss of what to get the mom that has everything. How about making her a one-of-a-kind gift! We found a recipe for homemade sugar scrubs that you can make in 5 minutes! What mom doesn’t want to feel pampered? With these easy to do scrubs you can have her feeling like a queen!
